Their mission is to tackle the impact that mobiles have on the environment by asking customers to keep their handsets for 1 year longer rather than upgrade.

Offering customers that need to upgrade their old mobile the choice of buying a refurbished handset.

Buying landline minutes from the UK's greenest landline network—who use modern "soft-switches" which use much less power than older exchange networks.

Planting 3 trees for each new mobile contract and 2 trees for each new landline that swaps over, plus they also donate 6% of customers' ongoing bills to their choice of charity partners: Woodland Trust, Friends of the Earth and the EIA.

Customers can opt for paperless billing and recycled paper is used for all correspondence and promotional materials.

Green Mobile has recently issued a Tree Challenge to businesses who have a CSR or environmental commitment: “We'll beat your current telecoms bills by 10% or plant 10 trees”. To take this challenge simply go to www.greenmobile.co.uk or call 08452 333 333.
