Consumers who want to upgrade their handset, possibly after selling their previous mobile phone, will find "much love" if they choose the HTC HD7, says a reviewer.
Flora Graham, taking a look at the new model for CNET UK, notes the first of the brand's devices to run on the Windows Phone 7 operating system is a winner.
She admits the latest platform by the computer giant is given "the best possible launch pad" by the high-quality mobile phone.
"The new operating system is swipy, swoopy fun and surprisingly simple to use," Ms Graham explains, adding the phone offers "sleek good looks and [a] big, beautiful screen".
Among the other specifications picked out by the expert as particularly impressive are the model's vast music store and successful integration of an on-screen keyboard.
Ms Graham recently labelled another of HTC's latest releases, the Desire HD, a "colossus" and said it is one of the most stylish mobiles around.
Jon Butler, creative brand manager at Envirofone, says: "If you're style conscious and have to have the latest technology, this new HTC phone might be for you. Why not trade-in your old phone? You could make some extra cash."
