People could be preparing to recycle their old mobile phones as the next release from the "smartphone king" draws ever closer.
Asavin Wattanajantra, writing for CNET UK, is referring to BlackBerry when he offers such a description, with the innovative manufacturer due to release its new Bold 9780 model in November.
Fans of the BlackBerry portfolio will not be disappointed, with the author noting the phone shares many similarities with its predecessors.
For example, it features the traditional full qwerty keyboard typically found on the brand's devices, as well as a large, bright display.
"But the Bold 9780 is not totally identical, as it has a new five-megapixel camera and 512MB of storage, rather than the three megapixels and 256MB of last year's model," adds the writer.
BlackBerry recently announced it is to make the Style 9670 mobile available for sale in the US from October 31st.
