Social media functions may be crucial to mobile recyclers

When it comes to choosing a replacement handset after recycling a mobile phone, finding a device with good social media functions may be a priority for many people.
That is because such features dominate the mobile broadband market, according to the network Three.
New research by the firm has found Facebook is the most popular service among those who use the internet on the go.
And next in line in terms of number of users is the gaming site Zynga.com, which boasts the Farmville application among its offerings.
Charlotte Blanchard, Three's director of internet services and products, says: "It shows that, for many, keeping up to date with friends or regular gameplay on the move is now more important than accessing their emails."
Results of a YouGov survey were announced earlier this week, naming the network as the UK's best provider of mobile broadband, citing value for money and reliability as key reasons.
