The HTC 7 Trophy is one of the new releases

Users who choose to recycle a mobile and switch to one of the latest Windows Phone 7 devices will be able to navigate their new model easier than ever before.

Jon Skeet and Nick Radicevic, authors of the latest Google Mobile Blog, explain the search engine has launched new technology that allows people to find various applications in record time.

The pair note the latest Google Search app includes several features that make tracking down emails, web pages, functions and images even easier.

Perhaps best of all for owners of phones that run on the recently released operating system, the tool is free to download for everybody with a handset that runs on Windows Phone 7.

Mr Skeet and Mr Radicevic go on to encourage people to sign up, suggesting the "power of Google Search is only a click away".

Among the companies to launch mobiles using Microsoft's platform were HTC and Samsung.
