Showbiz fans who love all the latest gossip from the world of celebrities may wish to sell their used phones and put the money towards an Apple iPhone, where a particular app is likely to catch their attention.
The new Celebalike feature allows owners of the revolutionary the chance to find out which famous face they are most like.
By taking a picture of themselves, users can submit their image and see whether they match their favourite footballer, singer or politician.
According to the developers of the app, the most common likeness among British women is with Welsh singer Charlotte Church, while UK lads are coming up as a spitting image of Peter Kay more than anyone else.
"Many people often get told they have a resemblance to certain stars, so now they can find out for sure," a spokesman for Celebalike states.
The New York Times' Gadgetwise blog recently named Epicurious, Yelp and Dragon Dictation as some of the best free apps available to iPhone users.
