Nokia boasts a large and diverse range of apps in its Ovi Store

An expert believes there are some fantastic apps to be enjoyed by those who invest in a Nokia phone, possibly with the money gained from selling their previous mobile.

Adam, author of the Nokia Conversations blog, explains Offscreen Technologies has produced a multitude of features for the Finnish brand's devices, all of which can be found in its Ovi Store.

"Apps are all the rage. They let us play games, listen to music, watch videos or see how bad someone smells. Yes, there is an app for that," he states.

The writer goes on to name five of the best produced by Offscreen Technologies, starting with Grid Touch, which simplifies the layout of apps and improves their accessibility.

He also recommends taking a look at Currencies Touch, Tips Touch, Weather Touch and Fifteen Touch.

Among the devices people may wish to try out the apps on are the Nokia N8 and C7, both of which have been released recently.

Julie Snape, marketing manager at Envirofone, says: "If you love your apps, why not upgrade to a handset that offers improved accessibility? You could even trade-in your old phone for cash!"
