Nokia C3-01 'is a cheap and attractive option for those who recycle a mobile'

The original Nokia C3 has been updated

Britons who opt to recycle a mobile and pocket the cash that comes from doing so could turn to the cheap and attractive Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type as a potential replacement.

While the handset has its limitations, Flora Graham, writing for CNET UK, says it is a bargain model that can be enjoyed from just £15 a month.

"The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is simple, cheap and attractive - so what's not to like?" she asks.

It comes in a stylish metal case and is a significant update on the classic phones of days gone by, as it includes a hi-tech touchscreen.

The family interface of the C3 has been enhanced and altered to fit perfectly with the touch nature of the model.

Adam, writing the Nokia Conversations blog last week, said one of the greatest benefits of Nokia phones is the firm's provision of a large number of top apps.

Jon Butler, creative brand manager at Envirofone, says: "A phone such as this would make a perfect Christmas present for someone - or why not treat yourself? You could even trade-in your old mobile for some extra cash!"
