Mobile recycling may tempt online gamblers

Keen gamblers who love to place wagers at virtual casinos and online sports betting portals while on the go could satisfy their urge to do so by recycling a mobile phone.
Clive Hawkswood, chief executive at the Global Betting and Gaming Consultants, says the widespread availability of smartphones and tablet devices has made this a realistic option for many.
In particular, he identifies the Apple iPad as a handset that is perfect for gambling in a way that is "rapid, global and without limitations".
"Tablet devices such as the iPad are providing the best features of PCs and mobiles," the expert concludes.
As well as the provision of great models that are available to those who recycle a mobile, other factors in the rise of gambling in this way are the improvements made in both broadband internet and downloads.
Spin 3 recently announced it is set to launch a Poker Tips app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, designed to help players with their game.
Julie Snape, head of marketing at Envirofone, says "If you trade-in your old phone, you could use the cash you make to place a wager - or even better, to upgrade your handset!"
