British travellers who sell a mobile phone and put the funds towards one of the latest smartphones will find there are plenty of apps to help with their journeys.
Adam, writing a post for the Nokia Conversations blog, explains there are four travel apps he believes to be the greatest.
He starts by nominating Lastminute.com Hotels – a tool that allows people the chance to find somewhere to stay.
Another favourite is Trainline Tickets, which offers the potential to view rail journeys and book tickets direct from an app-friendly device.
For all the latest news and reviews, Adam recommends TripAdvisor, where tourists can pick up tips on where to go, what restaurants to eat at and which attractions to visit.
Finally, he notes World Travel is an app with plenty to offer, suggesting it acts as an all-round guide to any country in the world.
One option for those seeking a new smartphone is the Nexus S, which was announced by Google recently.
