People who recycle a mobile phone and are subsequently on the hunt for a replacement could consider the Nokia N8, which has been named the Best Mobile Gadget of the Year.
The model picked up the prize at the Three Blog Awards, held to celebrate the first anniversary of the industry publication.
And when people have managed to secure a Nokia N8, the next move might be to download Angry Birds, as the game was confirmed as the Best App of the Year at the ceremony.
Meanwhile, television presenter Pollyanna Woodward secured the honour of being the Three Blog's Best Guest Blogger of the Year.
She said her article explored the idea of mothers taking advantage of the mobile broadband services that are available to them, adding it was "a great experience and clearly the blog post was relevant to any fellow mums out there".
The Nokia N8 was released this autumn alongside another hi-tech device, the Nokia C7.
