Sony Ericsson has announced the relaunched version of its eight-megapixel cameraphone - the C905 - will come equipped with a new service entitled Fun Text.
The system allows access to a bank of animations, pictures and videos that can be used in conjunction with SMS messages - and will feature on handsets on the 3 Mobile network.
David Hilton, marketing director at the mobile manufacturer, said: "Fun Text puts a world of entertaining messaging content at the fingertips of the handset owner."
The new Sony Ericsson C905 Plus is due to be released during the second quarter of 2009 - and could be of interest to those recycling mobile phones they no longer use.
Along with models like the LG's KC910 Renoir, the phone was one of the first released in the UK to feature an eight-megapixel camera.
