Samsung Monte Slider 'is a solid, cheap choice' for those who sell mobile

With a price tag of just £40, the Samsung Monte Slider may well be within the budgets of those who sell a mobile phone and are on the hunt for a replacement.
Alastair Stevenson, reviewing the handset for CNET UK, explains it is a solid design that does the basics well.
While he is dubious of the need to add internet features – something Samsung has provided – he promises it is a model that is sure to be an effective portal from which to make calls and send texts.
The author notes the lack of fancy functions is not "necessarily a bad thing" – especially to those who are only interested in the primary functions of a phone.
Mr Stevenson concludes: "The Slider is a tough, light phone with an intuitive interface that covers all your basic mobile telephony needs. We would recommend it as a good unit."
Buyers of Samsung mobiles are among those to enjoy the use of the Android operating system, which recently announced its latest version, named Gingerbread.
