Facebook could be considered a must-have when selling mobile

Individuals who choose to sell a mobile phone may deem the provision of social networking site Facebook to be a must when looking for a replacement.
Such a possibility follows research by Experian Hitwise that shows the portal was behind four of the top ten searches online in 2010.
Facebook was the most looked-for term of the year, while Facebook login, facebook.com and www.facebook.com also making the shortlist.
Such a result may emphasise the popularity of the site among internet users and make it a must for those who enjoy mobile broadband on the go.
In total, the feature was responsible for more than two per cent of all searches made online.
Unsurprisingly, Facebook moved up from third position in 2009 to become the most accessed website of the last 12 months.
A study by Envirofone recently showed visiting the site is one of the staple uses of mobiles by users, with 71 per cent of people only making calls, sending texts and checking Facebook.
