Family muses on the importance of being green

One family from South Lanarkshire have spoken out about the many benefits of recycling.
In an article posted on the local council's website, the McCarry family talk about how the introduction of new facilities has made going green easier than ever and how this is teaching them to be more environmentally-responsible.
Mother of the home Adriana said that although their household had always been green, it is important to be reminded why recycling is a good idea.
"Our planet is very precious to us and we must do all we can to preserve it for our kids and their kids. Although some don't believe it, every little does help," she added.
Ms McCarry's comments could inspire many to recycle mobile phones rather than allowing them to go to landfill once they are no longer wanted. By doing this, people may also be able to generate cash for the latest contracts.
