Maria Sharapova is recommending the new Sony Ericsson T707, which has just been launched.
According to the manufacturer, the three-time Grand Slam champion epitomises the "sleek" and "elegant" style of the gadget.
Sharapova said the handset is easy to use and stylish as well as practical.
"Its great to have a phone that looks good but also lets me keep up-to-date with everything I need," she added.
The T707 comes equipped with a range of features, such as a 3.2-megapixel camera and FM radio, as well as changing wallpaper themes and pulsating notification effects.
It also includes the "gesture control" function, which enables users to mute the phone using a wave of their hand.
Bluetooth audio streaming is also part of the package, as is PlayNow - a tool allowing music, ringtones and games to be downloaded.
Some of Sharapova's achievements last year included her win of the Australian Open.
