Music lovers who are thinking about updating their mobile phone at some point this year may want to consider a new offering from Sony Ericsson, which said users can "make it rock".
The manufacturer claimed the W205 has everything people need to enjoy tunes whether they are in the park, at college or on the bus.
It comes with TrackID music recognition, an FM radio and the ability to set up playlists.
Sony Ericsson's marketing business manager Timo Maassmann commented: "The W205 is perfect for those who love portable music but have never had the Walkman phone experience."
The slider handset also comes with a 1.3-megapixel camera, which the company claimed is perfect for people looking to capture their favourite moments either as still or moving images.
People who are considering recycling mobile phones may find they can get a bit of money for old models to put towards the new W205.
Alternatively, they may opt to use the cash as part payment for the recently released Sony Ericsson T707, which the company described as "stunning".
