Orange has announced a new handset that combines touchscreen technology with rapid web access.
The "eagerly anticipated" HTC Touch 3G will be one of the latest phones added to the network's business range and will be exclusively available in a matt black finish to its customers.
It is noted that, in addition to the 2.8-inch screen with touch interface, users will also benefit from a range of integrated office and multimedia applications as well as UMA call technology.
Francois Mahieu, director of devices at Orange, said the email functions of the new handset would appeal to professional users, but would also be of interest to those looking at a multimedia-focused model.
"The HTC Touch 3G offers all this and more, helping businesses get more out of whatever they're doing, wherever they are," he added.
Equipped with a memory capacity of up to 30 GB with a microSD card, the model also features a 3.2 megapixel camera and is powered by the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system.
