New business app launched for BlackBerry mobiles

Research in Motion has announced a new business service that can be downloaded to its latest phones.
The company behind the BlackBerry has announced the launch of the 4.0 version of the Cortado Corporate Server - an enterprise application that provides professionals with a file, network and office management solution.
Included in this latest upgrade of the software - which can be trialled free from the Cortado website - is a Scan & Copy feature, as well as a built-in PDF Creator and Instant Database Access facility.
Thorsten Hesse, international sales manager at the group behind the application, said the latest version of the server will provide business users with "a new standard in mobility".
"Faster workflows and turnaround times are key during the current financial crisis when companies need to keep costs down," he added.
Current BlackBerry handsets which could convince professionals to consider recycling mobile phones include the Curve, Pearl, Flip and Storm.
