Music-lovers looking to recycle mobile phones may be buoyed by a new announcement from Orange.
The network states this week that it is backing Nokia's Comes With Music service by offering it as part of its latest 5800 XpressMusic package - which will be launched on May 29th.
From £25 per month on some of the carrier's latest contracts, Orange users will be given exclusive access to the Finnish manufacturer's catalogue of tunes via the 5800.
Tracks can be downloaded to the device for free during the course of the two-year contract and users will have more than six million songs to choose from.
Francois Mahieu, director of devices for Orange UK, said: "We're extremely excited about being the exclusive UK operator to offer Comes With Music on the Nokia 5800."
The handset has appeared in a number of music videos and films including Britney Spears' Womanizer and 2008 Batman adaptation The Dark Knight.
