Orange has predicted that its customers will be using their new and used phones more than ever over the coming weeks to help save money on cinema trips.
The operator believes that more people will be taking advantage of its Orange Wednesdays offer, due to the arrival of Star Trek, X-Men Origins; Wolverine and Angels & Demons to cinema screens.
A 30 per cent increase in demand in the two-for-one deal has been recorded, suggesting that new and used phones are playing a big role in the current movie buzz.
According to Orange, 14 million visits to picture houses have been made as a result of the promotion, saving people £30 million over the last five years.
The company also announced recently that Orange Wednesday customers can enjoy two pizzas for the price of one at Pizza Express, accompanied by free garlic bread or dough balls.
