New Sony Ericsson to offer 'the best of both worlds'
15 December 2008 — 4:41 PM
Choosing between a great cameraphone and a device with photographic credentials can be tough, a new article suggests.
According to a piece by Sandra Vogel on the Trusted Reviews website this week, Sony Ericsson is one manufacturer that has performed well with its Cyber-shot and Walkman phones in the past.
However, she states the latest model aims to bring together the photography and music focus of both ranges into one model - the Sony Ericsson W902.
In news that could interest those looking to recycle old mobile phones before hunting down a new one, she states the W902 screen is "sharper and brighter than the average display by some margin".
Ms Vogel adds the phone's music playback quality is "really quite good" and adds that although a five-megapixel camera may seem tame it is a specification that is appropriate "at present technology levels".
Other models focused on photography in the company's range include the Sony Ericsson C905, an eight-megapixel model launched earlier this year.
