Green accessories launched for latest phones

A new line of environmentally-friendly accessories have been launched for use with the latest phones.
Sprint this week announced the release of a range of products that may interest those looking to make their lifestyle a little greener - some thing that could also involve recycling mobile phones.
The Solio Mono is just one of the new items and acts as a traditional electrical charger, as well as utilising solar energy to do the same task.
In addition, Sprint will release two new carrying cases that are made from 100 per cent recycled plastic water bottles - much like parts of the Motorola W233 Renew mobile phone.
Ralph Reid, vice-president of corporate social responsibility for the firm, said the launch would help people reduce their carbon footprint and would be accompanied by a new online facility.
"Our new green-themed website offers more tips on how consumers can help the environment with easy steps, such as recycling old phones," he added.
