Google Android 'impresses once again'

A new review has suggested that on its second outing, Google's Android operating system has once again proved impressive.
The software has so far only been available in the UK on the T Mobile G1, but the latest phone to come equipped with it is the Vodafone exclusive HTC Magic and both are built by the same manufacturer.
Russell Jeffries of Mobile Burn said it is this particular feature which is the major selling point of the device, admitting admitted it was also the reason he had difficulty putting the handset down.
"Overall, I really enjoyed using the HTC Magic and it certainly put a smile on my face," he explained. "I give it a recommended rating."
However, Mr Jeffries does highlight the fact the phone does not carry a 3.5mm headphone socket and has a weak battery life - which could put off some people looking to spend their mobile recycling cash on a new model.
