Shoppers looking for an alternative to some of the latest contracts may be interested in Virgin Media's most recent pay monthly tariffs.
The network has announced a revised range of offerings that include a new series of "competitive bundles".
For £18 per month, the carrier states it can top many of its rivals by matching their best offer of unlimited texts and calls - as part of a tariff that will cost them £2 less.
In addition, a £25 monthly payment can be made that will provide unlimited internet access from their phone.
Graeme Oxby, managing director of mobile at Virgin Media, said: "We're offering consumers outstanding value and much greater choice, with hundreds of minutes, countless texts and endless web browsing."
The latest phones in the network's pay monthly range include the Samsung G600 Pink, the Nokia 5800 and 7610, LG's KC550 and the Sony Ericsson W302 Walkman model.
