A new game has been launched for Nokia's latest mobile phones that will introduce players to a whole new world, it has been suggested.
In an article for the Pocket Gamer website, Spanner Spencer takes a look at the latest incarnation of a game that has been a huge success on the Apple iPhone 3G - Spore Origins.
He states that players with N-Gage enabled mobiles - which would include handsets such as the Nokia N97, N95 and N73 - now get the chance to guide a micro-organism up the evolutionary ladder.
"Being as nature is such a harsh mistress, the only way to do that is to eat and absorb new DNA, so your primary task is to swim around gobbling up smaller life forms than yourself," the reviewer explains.
He concludes that fans of the existing title may find this new version "something of a step down the evolutionary ladder", but adds newcomers may relish the chance to discover a new universe of genetic possibilities.
