Anyone awaiting news on the latest phones may be glad to hear O2 has released information about the upcoming Apple iPhone 3G S.
O2 will launch the gadget in the UK on June 19th and it will be available on Pay Monthly, Pay & Go, Business and Corporate tariffs.
The iPhone 3G 8GB is already available to buy and those who purchase it now will be able to download the iPhone OS 3.0 software from June 17th.
Up to 100 new features can be accessed via the web - including a landscape feature, which allows users to read and write texts, emails and picture messaging by holding their iPhone sideways.
However, those without an iPhone could wait until June 19th to sell their old phone and get the much-awaited new version.
According to Apple, the latest incarnation "offers incredible speed and performance, on average up to twice as fast as iPhone 3G, so you can render web pages quicker and launch applications faster".
Users will have access to the App Store - the largest application store in the world - which has more than 50,000 applications.
