Latest 3 Mobile tariff offers "something for nothing"

The latest contract to emerge from 3 Mobile could tempt customers recycling mobile phones to finance a cheaper way to call and text.
From June 17th, the network will be offering a new sim card package that will be the first in the UK to have a monthly tariff of £0.
In addition, the Sim Zero offering will provide free Skype-to-Skype calling - when used on a compatible mobile phone - as well as instant messaging services.
According to 3 Mobile, this means it will be the only network that can truly say it offers its customers "something for nothing" during a time when everyone is looking to tighten their purse strings.
Head of the carrier's Pay Monthly services Andy Nuttall commented: "Customers can come to us, and when theyre at home in the UK theyll never have to pay for a call or instant message to anyone else on Skype anywhere in the world."
The INQ1 and Skypephone S2 are both compatible with the voice over internet telephony service, although BlackBerry and Apple also offer a downloadable Skype application.
