Expert advises: Busy people can recycle too
23 June 2009 — 2:00 PM
A new article has highlighted mobile recycling as an essential part of any initiative to reduce your carbon footprint.
Kasen Seaver notes in a piece for the Earth911 website there are many things people can do to start acting in a more environmentally-responsible manner.
As part of her "eight ways to be green on the go" she highlights the benefits of trading in used mobile phones and adds putting a container in your car to help save items that can be reused later is also worth doing.
"Don't let being on the go be an excuse for not reducing, reusing or recycling," Ms Seaver concludes. "No matter what you're doing or where you're going, there's always a way to be green."
Consumers may also be inspired to hand over their unwanted handsets during Recycle week, which started yesterday (June 22nd) and runs until June 28th.
