HTC Touch Pro2 'a business alternative to iPhone'
23 June 2009 — 10:22 AM
One of the latest phones to emerge from HTC could have enough to take on one of its fiercest competitors, it has been advised.
Mobile Burn's Russell Jefferies looked at the manufacturer's Touch Pro2 device and noted although the handset has not got the most imaginative name, it does deliver in a few key areas.
He explained HTC has followed the original Touch Pro with a gadget that could prove to be ideal for business users looking for an alternative to the Apple iPhone.
"It has a wonderful screen that is actually bigger than the iPhone's and much higher resolution, too," Mr Jeffries said.
The article also highlighted the slide-out qwerty keyboard, "fantastic speakerphone", Windows Mobile user interface and battery capable of "running for days at a time, just as a business phone should".
Other devices in the range include the recently-launched HTC Magic, which is exclusive to Vodafone and runs on the Google Android operating system.
