New Sony Ericsson 'improves the Walkman brand'
1 July 2009 — 10:15 AM
Sony Ericsson has boosted its range of Walkman-branded phones with a new model that builds on the company's expertise, one expert claims.
Flora Graham states in a recent article for Cnet that the manufacturer has continued to deliver high quality music-focussed devices and has now done so with a handset that is nothing short of a "masterclass".
She explains the Sony Ericsson W995 also benefits from a great set of headphones and incorporates an 8.1-megapixel camera that is good enough to hold its own against many of its competitors.
Ms Graham also points out that despite having new multimedia mobiles on the horizon - such as the recently announced Satio - the firm continues to impress with this particular line.
"This is a music phone that takes everything great about the Walkman range and makes it even better, thanks to the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack," she concludes.
Sony Ericsson's Satio has yet to be released and is equipped with a 12.1-megapixel camera.
