3 Mobile and Vodafone's latest moves to tempt customers

Recycling mobile phones can be a good way to generate cash to trade up to a better model - but two new announcements this week may have made the decision more difficult for consumers.
Those looking for a multimedia-focused handset may be tempted by the Sony Ericsson W995 - the firm's latest Walkman model - particularly now 3 Mobile is offering three months' access to Sky Mobile TV on the gadget.
"Sports fans can watch ball-by-ball coverage of major sports events live, as well as all forthcoming coverage on Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and Xtra - and Sky Sports News," it explained.
In addition, business users hunting down the latest contracts and interested in the network-exclusive HTC Magic, may be keener on what is now on offer from Vodafone.
The carrier revealed it would provide lower roaming fees across 12 international destinations as part of a £20 monthly package called Vodafone Europe.
