'Super Hero challenges nemesis on price'

Not only is the HTC Hero the latest phone to hit the UK market with Google Android onboard, but a new article says it beats the Apple iPhone 3G S hands down on price.
According to Trusted Reviews' Niall Magennis, the manufacturer has put out two models with the operating system in the past - the T Mobile G1 and the Vodafone-exclusive Magic - but this one is very different.
He explained that the HTC Hero is a much more refined-looking handset that looks like something out of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.
In terms of its user interface, the gadget is noted as not quite as slick as that of the Apple iPhone 3G S, but Mr Magennis added price gives the former something of an edge over the latter.
"The G1 may have got Android off to a slow start, but the Hero shows that it's now fully up to speed. Make no mistake, the Hero really is a fabulous phone and its price is very attractive compared to the expensive iPhone," he concluded.
