Those looking to generate some cash with mobile recycling may also be interested in the latest announcement from Vodafone.
According to the network, this weekend will represent the last opportunity for its customers to take advantage of its latest roaming promotion, where they can call, text and send picture messages from overseas at the same price as in the UK.
It was noted the offering not only provides extra value for those travelling over the bank holiday weekend, it also gives more clarity with regards fees for web surfing with a laptop or handset.
The promotion ends at midnight on August 31st and requires users to have registered with its Vodafone Passport service.
"Although the summer roaming promotion finishes at the end of the month there is still time to take advantage of it before going on that late summer holiday, business trip or last-minute bank holiday weekend break," it added.
Vodafone recently announced it would be adding the new BlackBerry 8520 to its line up of handsets - which may interest those recycling mobile phones for a new device for work.
