Samsung has announced it will be boosting its Omnia range with four new gadgets, one of which the firm said is well equipped for business and pleasure.

The Omnia II, which also goes by the product code of the I8000, features Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional, but also offers a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen that the firm said has "crystal clear" image reproduction.

In addition, the handset has Samsung's TouchWiz 2.0 user interface, as well as a five-megapixel camera, integrated media player with DivX support, video recording and editing, and 3D interactive gaming.

The gadget will be joined by three other Omnia models - the LITE, PRO B7610 and PRO B7330.

According to the manufacturer: "With four different devices on offer, whatever your lifestyle or budget, the Samsung Omnia range has a phone that's right for you."

It was recently announced that the firm's Galaxy i7500 would be available on the O2 network.
