Consumers trading in used mobiles have been given an extra option following one handset manufacturer's latest announcement.
Nokia stated those looking to purchase its new N97 mini can now register their interest online - and has also unveiled tariff details for those who pre-order.
People who sign up can be among the first to get their hands on the revised, more compact version of the existing smartphone, which will be on Vodafone for £35 per month - with no charge for the device itself.
"With its qwerty keyboard and touchscreen, it's easy to customise and add favourite social networking applications such as email, Facebook updates and Nokia's Lifecasting, making staying in touch simple, fast and easy," it was advised.
The gadget offers 8GB of onboard memory, a five-megapixel camera and a 3.2-inch touchscreen.
Nokia's original N97 is still readily available - making it another smartphone option for consumers recycling old mobile phones for cash.
