Dolce & Gabanna campaign launched for new Jalou

A new handset launched in conjunction with an Italian fashion house is the centre of a new marketing campaign.

Consumers recycling mobile phones can expect to see the Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce & Gabbana edition in a number of places as part of an advertising initiative that starts this week.

The handset will appear in a series of print and online features, with the latter involving a video put together by director Cyril Guyot, who has previously worked with the likes of Air France, Yves Saint Larent and many others.

He explained: "The film is about bad girls desiring an object more than anything, and we felt this was the best way to reflect the key qualities of Jalou by Dolce & Gabbana."

The Sony Ericsson Jalou is also available in three other standard colours Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine Blue and Onyx Black, while the Dolce & Gabbana edition comes in exclusive Sparkling Rose.
