Those looking to recycle mobile phones in favour of a new multimedia handset could be buoyed by a recent review.
In an article posted on Mobile Burn, the Nokia N85 is hailed as one of the most feature-packed devices around by gadget expert Ricky Cadden.
The phone is noted as the first from the Finnish manufacturer to be equipped with the Symbian S60 operating system since the flagship Nokia N95 as well as micro-USB charging and an OLED display.
At 2.6-inches, this screen works well with high-quality photos, automatic geotagging and good battery life, Mr Cadden states, adding that its size is also a benefit.
"The Nokia N85 offers a powerful multimedia consumption and creation tool in a compact package," he says. "We think the Nokia N85 is by far the best S60-powered multimedia-focused smartphone on the market today."
In a review for 3G.co.uk last month, the Nokia N85 was praised as an Nseries handset that overall was "difficult to fault".
