Businesses and consumers 'all love iPhone'

Mobile recycling customers from the business and consumer market are among those that are enjoying the Apple iPhone 3G, if one expert is to be believed.

According to a spokesman for Ovum, an organisation that provides consultancy services and information on the technology and telecommunications sector, the device has had a significant impact on all types of customer.

Jeremy Green, practice leader of mobile at the firm, delivered his comments as part of the Westminster eForum Keynote Seminar entitled More than Talk - The Future of Mobile.

"The really important thing about the iPhone is not that it's a really cool device and everybody likes it and you can do really smart stuff with it, but the way that it has transformed business relationships in the industry," he added.

Apple recently unveiled record quarterly profits that it attributed to the iPhone 3G, noting that in the three-month period ending September 26th it had sold around 7.4 million of the smartphones.
