Those who have just received cash for mobile phones may want to hang on to it following the comments of one publication.
According to Nokia Conversations, an online resource that closely follows the latest devices and developments of the Finnish gadget manufacturer, an upcoming model continues to impress.
Having previously highlighted the fact that the N900 handset gets better once you learn all of its shortcuts and tricks, the site noted a few of its other interesting facilities and quirks.
In addition to an autofill facility, kick stand, enhanced keyword search and "some smart web browser navigation skills", it is also equipped with some odd little audio treats.
"My personal favourite is the neat sound the N900 makes when you plug it in to recharge the moment it starts sucking power it creates a cool mechanical noise like it's just received a power-up in a game," the site concluded.
Commenting on the phone Envirofone.com head of marketing Julie Snape said such new handsets show that the market is looking positive.
"The volume of phones being replaced and recycled has risen dramatically over the last few years", she explained. "Consumers are constantly upgrading to the latest model or the newest application."
So far there is no confirmed release date for the new Nokia smartphone but it is thought the device could appear next month.
