New Sony Ericsson cameraphone divides the critics

With many of the latest phones offering high-performance camera technology, one model has received divided reviews.

In a recent article for MobileBurn, Russell Jeffries states the Sony Ericsson C905 is a great option that is well-suited to anyone who wants to take a good-quality camera with them everywhere they go.

The 8.1-megapixel handset is also praised for having attained a level of design and functionality that is both "classy and cohesive" - which may persuade those looking to trade in used phones to bear the device in mind.

"We at MobileBurn are happy to give this handset our highly recommended rating," Mr Jeffries' review concludes.

Elsewhere, Trusted Reviews' Sandra Vogel states other high-performance cameraphones such as the Samsung Pixon and LG KC910 Renoir are the better option.

She concludes where the Sony Ericsson C905 lets itself down - in comparison to its competitors - is that whereas it chooses to focus on photographic quality, the others have "all round, strong design and features".
