New Nokia 'fun, fashionable and affordable'
24 November 2009 — 2:00 PM
The second of two handsets from Nokia this week could tempt those recycling mobile phones for a stylish but affordable new handset.
In addition to the new 6700 slide model, the company noted its 7230 would offer a wide range of multimedia and internet-based options, while remaining within an entry-level price bracket.
The ability to take and share photographs was one particular feature that was highlighted by Nokia, as the new gadget boasts a 3.2-megapixel camera, 2.4-inch display and support for the 3G network.
It was advised that this also means the 7230 can provide rapid access to a number of messaging features and social networking options, while still being stylish enough to satisfy those in the market for a fashionable device.
"Being connected has never looked so good," Nokia concluded, adding that the phone's "compact slide design, colourful looks and solid set of features are a package that offers great value for money".
Those in the market for a more business-focussed mobile may be more interested in the firm's new E72 model, which was launched earlier this month.
