BlackBerry smartphone users may want to take advantage of Chalk Pushcat Software 5.4, the latest release from Mobile chalkboard.
The software can be used on the latest smartphones - including the BlackBerry Bold 9700, the Curve 8520 and Storm2 9550 - and supports the 5.0 version operating system.
The Chalk Pushcat Player can enable a list of approved opt-in RSS feeds for users.
Features include secure sockets, layer security for web access and podcasting channels, which administrators can use to push audio or video-based corporate RSS feeds to individuals or groups.
Jody Glidden, director at Chalk, said a deeper integration is being built "between our award-winning solution and the BlackBerry platform - the corporate standard for enterprise mobility - to deliver a truly secure, easy to manage solution for pushing impactful training, compliance and corporate content to BlackBerry smartphones".
Recent research by Airwide Solutions found that close to half - 44 per cent - of people surveyed ranked GPS-enabled navigation devices as the top technology innovation of the last decade.
