The announcement from Nokia's OviStore that it is now stocking downloadable apps for the N900, as well as the existing fare for Symbian-based devices, could encourage mobile recycling.
Following this, MyDailyApp.com has announced its favourite Ovi apps that are available for N900 users.
Bounce Evolution - a game where a ball is guided through a variety of tracks - is listed as one of the highlights and the website states that "Graphics like this have never been done before on any mobile device, hands down".
Pixel Media Uploader also receives praise for allowing users to share a file from their handset across a range of social networking sites including Twitter and Facebook.
Keeping up with the weather across a range of cities could be made easier with the ForecaWeather app, which has an interface "that's a fair bit more attractive than the weather itself at this time of year".
The apps are available for N900 users to download for free along with a number of other apps which are compatible across the Nokia range.
