8 out of 10 for LG Cookie KP500
12 January 2009 — 6:00 PM
One of the latest phones to hit the market has been awarded eight points out of a possible ten by a gadget website.
Trusted Reviews said the LG Cookie KP500 is moderately priced but not necessarily as affordable as the manufacturer makes out.
"Acceptable" in terms of weight and height, the Cookie looks somewhat like LG's previous handset the Renoir and has the same main screen widgets that enable quick access to various services.
A "rubbery feel" to the outer shell of the phone was noted as a plus point by the reviewer, although the touchscreen "leaves a bit to be desired".
The writer added: "The camera has its highs and lows ... but ... this is a reasonably good touchscreen handset."
Overall, the Cookie received eight out of ten in all categories except from features, for which it was awarded seven out of ten.
LG says the phone is the "most affordable" of its kind in the UK.
