Life could be full of surprises for O2 customers
16 February 2010 — 3:17 PM
Customers with mobile network O2 could be set to benefit from a range of prizes as part of a new scheme linked to its O2 Top-Up Surprises loyalty programme.
Prizes include the chance to spend the day with popstar Rihanna and the opportunity to fly on the official Arsenal plane next season.
Users can opt in for the chance to win by texting 'Surprises' for free to 61202.
"Top-up Surprises is a key element, alongside initiatives like Priority Tickets, of our commitment to give something back to our customers and reward their loyalty," said marketing director at O2 UK Sally Cowdry.
She added that the campaign has proved to be a huge success with the company's Pay and Go customers and now they will be able to benefit from even bigger prizes.
Jon Butler, creative brand manager for Envirofone, commented: "Everyone likes a little treat from time-to-time, and these prizes are certainly worth the text message!"
Consumers could be tempted to recycle their old mobile phone for cash in order to upgrade to a new handset on the network, as it recently removed call charges for customers calling 0800 number operated by the Department for Work and Pensions.
