The HTC Desire is coming to 3, which could give customers of the network operator the push they need to sell their used mobile phones and upgrade to a more innovative handset.
3 claims to be the UK's biggest 3G network and its customers may have been waiting for the arrival of the HTC Desire before deciding to sell used mobile phones.
And with access to a variety of social networking features all in one device, the HTC Desire could be the mobile phone 3 customers have been eagerly awaiting.
It runs off the latest Android operating system, the Eclair, while it will also feature Windows Live Messenger, Skype, Twitter and an integrated Facebook application.
Commenting on the arrival in spring 2010, Sylvia Chind, head of branded devices at 3 UK, said: "Our network is growing every day and the HTC Desire is one of many internet phones set to enter our range this year to really make the most of it."
Free Twitter is available until the end of March for those individuals accessing it through the 3 network on handsets including the Sony Ericsson T715 and the INQ Chat 3G.
