Consumers may be pleased to hear the most up-to-date version of Android (2.1) is set to be made available to Motorola Milestone owners over the next few weeks.
According to a post on Motorola Europe's Facebook page yesterday (March 29th) the newest operating system is set to be made available to UK customers soon.
Motorola said: "We are delighted to say that the European roll-out of our 2.1 upgrade began today in France and will roll out across Germany, Italy and the UK between now and mid-April as testing and approvals are completed."
It added that users may wish to keep a look out for further announcements including wallpapers, home screens and added security features.
Mobile recycling with Envirofone may be one option worth considering for consumers that would like to receive cash for their existing handset, which they could use towards an upgrade.
A Cnet review of the Milestone described it as "the smart phone for the user who wants everything".
