This week has seen a number of reviews emerge that could help inform those in the market for the latest phones.
In a piece for India.com, one critic took a look at the newest touchscreen device from Research In Motion (RIM) - and concluded it was worthy of going head-to-head with most of its rivals.
The site said RIM was on to a winner with the BlackBerry Storm 9500, as it was capable of taking on other handsets like the Apple iPhone 3G, Sony Ericsson C905 and Samsung Tocco.
In the UK, the BlackBerry Storm is available exclusively on Vodafone.
Elsewhere, Stuff Magazine took a look at the Nokia E63 Series 60 and said the phone represented a stripped-down version of its E71.
The article said the Finnish company had clearly attempted to create "a more affordable, no frills" revamp of the original and added the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack was welcome.
