Selling an old mobile phone may well be an option worth considering for movie fans, if a recent announcement is anything to go by.

Mobile manufacture Samsung has revealed that to celebrate the launch of Iron Man 2 in the UK it will release the original Iron Man film on its latest device.

The Samsung Monte will come packaged with the full-length original film as well as a range of exclusive content from the sequel pre-loaded onto it.

Envirofone could give consumers cash for their old handset that they could then use to get the Monte package, which is available exclusively from O2 from May 1st.

Julie Wright, executive director of mobile and digital at Paramount Digital Entertainment, said: "Movies are a great way to showcase the cinematic qualities of the mobile phone and help to transform the device into a true entertainment center."

Fans of touchscreen devices could find the phone is an ideal upgrade.
